Grind de Galena

Rick is 30 days away from retirement and so we decided to get in shape for the big event with a bike ride over Galena Summit right here in our own state of Idaho. We joined with about 70 other riders for the Grind de Galena put on by Barrie's Ski & Sports from Hailey to Camp Perkins over Galena Summit. The ride was over 2 days with an overnight stay at Camp Perkins by Alturas Lake where the views and surroundings were absolutely gorgeous.  We always love the scenic Alturas Lake but it is even prettier in the fall and the weather was perfect!

This is Rick's first year of riding and he did an awesome job. He made it all the way to the summit both days!
